The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl

The window cleaning team comprised of the giraffe, the pelican and the monkey. One day, Billy visited their house. On usual days, the pelican’s beak would be filled with water. The Duke needed people to help clean the windows in the palace. The giraffe acted as the ladder, the pelican was the bucket and the monkey would be the cleaner. The giraffe could extend his neck at will. The pelican ate up a burglar on the third floor of the palace who was trying to steal jewels. For that, the Duke was pleased and offered them a free stay in the palace. In addition, the animals could eat their favourite foods. The animals were elated and Billy was also given money to open the candy store which he always dreamed of.
